P-p-p-pick up a penguin

Vets and keepers at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) have given this year’s penguin chicks at Edinburgh Zoo their first vaccinations and microchips.  

The wildlife conservation charity welcomed 16 gentoo and five Northern rockhopper chicks as part of this year’s penguin breeding season.  

Visitors can spot the newest arrivals to Penguins Rock in the creche area of the zoo. Book online and save edinburghzoo.org.uk/tickets.
