Located within our Budongo Trail exhibit, you can transport yourself to a new world with this one-of-a-kind 360° experience.
Gorilla Trek
See the biggest, most powerful living primates in their natural habitat!
Travel to the Rwandan mountains alongside world-renowned primatologist Dr. Tara Stoinski to witness the unique family dynamics that pit one silverback mountain gorilla against another for control of their family.

Terms and Conditions
Experiences last for approximately seven minutes.
Open seven days a week from 10:30am until an hour before zoo closing time, including weekends and school holidays. Please note that opening times may vary during the week.
This experience is not recommended for guests who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy, have back and neck problems or are pregnant.
All participants must have a ticket for the zoo or a valid membership card.
We only accept card purchases for this experience.
Tickets can be purchased at the VR experience at Budongo Trail, pre-booking is not required.
Anyone under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.
Minimum height of 90cm.
Maximum weight of 21 stone.
